Transmission of your information across the Internet

LibSafe uses the industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) method of encryption to secure your transmission of sensitive information, denoted by the little padlock that appears on your browser. Banking and other financial transactions all use SSL.

The LibSafe system encrypts the data using Blowfish on entry, so the transmitted data uses both SSL and Blowfish. Anyone who intercepts the data would have to decrypt first the SSL and then the Blowfish.

On your computer

Your password is never transmitted over the Internet and is not stored on your computer by the LibSafe system.

When valuable information is entered, it is immediately encrypted on your computer using your secret key. The encrypted data is then sent to the server. Data transmitted back to you from the server is decrypted on your computer using your secret key more ...
